CM Download Manager User Guide: Twitter Social Login

Once you allow Twitter users to authenticate their login with the CM Download Manager plugin, they will be able to submit new downloads or view exiting download only accessible by lodged-in users.

This setting can be customized to specifically allow Twitter authentication within the plugin settings panel. If this setting is left empty, the Twitter option will not appear. To register your site with Twitter , the admin must do the following steps:

    • Create Twitter application at https://dev.twitter.com/apps/
    • Remember to enter App Domains (your-domain)
    • Make sure that callback URL is set to: http://your-domain.com/auth/twitter/oauthcallback
    • On settings tab check option “Allow this application to be used to Sign in with Twitter”.
