The CM Download Manager has a detailed log and statistics feature which enable the plugin administrator to get a good understanding of the usage of each download in his system. The feature also comes with a Geo Location API which gives additional country information for each IP which is collected in the log file.
The Log system include a detailed grid which collect all the log data which is recorded for the events occurring in the CM Download Manager Plugin as shown in here:
The log interface includes the ability to filter data by dates, and by the download name. If the user was logged-in while downloading his username and email will also appear in the log grid and it would be possible to filter all records according to his username.
The second part of the log system is the visualization part. it includes several graphs which shows statistics of how many files were downloaded during a defined period of time as shown in the following example:
The downloads locations in the log grid can be tracked by providing the Geo Location API key received from http://ipinfodb.com/register.php. The API key should be added to the settings as shown in here
Additional features of the log includes the ability to export all log data to a CSV file, the ability to erase the log data – this will erase all current data stored in the database but will start again collecting new data.
In the plugin settings it is possible to define which events are recorded as shown in this images belowhttps://www.cminds.com/wordpress-plugins-knowledge-base-and-documentation/?hscat=8-cm-download-manager
